Awesome experience! We both had implants placed a day apart and both of us had exceptional care. Their entire staff is very professional and caring. The thought of implants can be a scary thought, especially when they involve bone grafting and your sinuses. We were pleasantly surprised that we had very little discomfort even after all the local anesthetic wore off. Day 5 and things are going great. Dr. Keyes and his staff were so professional and caring with our older kids that we also took our very nervous autistic daughter for much needed multiple wisdom tooth extraction. He couldn't have been more understanding and helpful. He has a great sense of humor that made us laugh and helped her relax.

We love Island Oral & Facial Surgery. Dr. Lance Keyes is an amazing oral surgeon. He removed my daughter's wisdom teeth and she no problems at all. She is also an enormous chicken and he and his staff had her completely at ease. So when it came time for me to get my implants I had no worries in going to Dr. Keyes. I had 3 implants in one visit and absolutely no issues. Dr. Keyes and his staff are the best that I have ever been to and most certainly the best on Whidbey Island! So if you need any oral surgery, my family and I highly recommend Island Oral & Facial Surgery!

Needed an emergency extraction at 31 weeks pregnant, was fit in to be taken care of between scheduled patients. Dr. Keyes was friendly, professional, accommodating, understanding and comforting. I could not be put to sleep for the extraction because of my pregnancy but he made sure to make the extraction painless and comfortable since I had to be awake through the whole thing. All the staff were also just as friendly and professional.

I busted my face and jaw in a bike accident. It was so gross and bloody. After a crazy ambulance ride to the ER, the doc denied I had broken my jaw and just wanted to “stitch her up real quick” which would have at the very least resulted in terrible thick scars on my chin and face. Dr Keyes, miracle worker that he is, came to the hospital and looked at my X-rays with his expert maxillofacial surgeons eyes and determined that I had indeed broken my jaw. It was no surprise to me; I had been trying to tell everyone that but couldn’t (broken jaw probs). He magically fixed my teeth and my jaw, put my mandible back inside my face and left me with very minimal scarring. Three months later and you have to look up extremely close to see scars, which no one really does because of socially acceptable personal space distances and all that. I would highly recommend using Dr Keyes if you ever find yourself accidentally smashing your face through a windshield at 20mph, and for anything else face/jaw/teeth related.

I had two implants done by Dr. Keyes and I couldn't be happier, both with my treatment at his high-tech clinic and by the results. I found Dr. Keyes extremely professional and competent. I really liked his friendly manner and the way he spent as much time as needed to explain to me exactly what he was doing or was about to do and why. His staff is also great.
